Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.Hence, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “no idol in the world really exists,” and that “there is no God but one.”
The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like deer’s feet, And has me walk on my high places.God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and makes me tread upon the heights.
Not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you would inherit a blessing.Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse; but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing.
