The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.The vine dries up; the fig tree languishes. Pomegranate, palm, and apple, all the trees of the field are dried up, and gladness dries up from the children of man.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.

Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied. And what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and wait there, that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.
And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.And over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
