Romans 3:23 (3/4)

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.Next verse! With image
