Romans 6-23 (4/4)

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.
Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.Who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting.
Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
He will render to each one according to his works.Who “will pay back to everyone according to their works.”
For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.For as many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction. But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.And hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
So that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Bible verse of the day

When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.
