| For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. | For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. |

| Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. | Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. |

| He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
