Bible Verses about 'Romans 6 23'

  • For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
  • Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
  • For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
  • And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
  • For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
  • What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
  • But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
  • What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
  • There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
  • For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
  • For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
  • So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
  • But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
  • For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
  • For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
  • The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
  • For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
  • For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
  • But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
  • Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
  • Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
  • And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
  • He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
  • Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  • Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
  • For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
  • That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  • For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
  • For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
  • So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
  • Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
  • For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
  • I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
  • And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
  • For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
  • For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
  • Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
  • Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.
  • Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
  • Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
  • Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
  • Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
  • Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
  • If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
  • Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
  • Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
