Bible Verses about Gratitude
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.
- Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! - For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
- I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
- Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
- You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.
- And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- But I with the voice of thanksgiving
will sacrifice to you;
what I have vowed I will pay.
Salvation belongs to the Lord! - And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
