| The heavens proclaim the glory of God; the firmament shows forth the work of his hands. | Beloved, do not trust every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. | If you refrain from traveling on the Sabbath and from engaging in your own interests on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a day of joy and regard the Lord’s holy day as honorable, if you honor it by not going your own way, serving your own interests, or attending to your own affairs; then you will find true happiness in the Lord, and I will enable you to ride upon the heights of the earth. I will nourish you with the heritage of your father Jacob, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. | Keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t pursue your own interests on that day, but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day. Honor the Sabbath in everything you do on that day, and don’t follow your own desires or talk idly. Then the Lord will be your delight. I will give you great honor and satisfy you with the inheritance I promised to your ancestor Jacob. I, the Lord, have spoken! |

And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. |

| But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. | But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
| Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?” | Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” |
| The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! | He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! |
