But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8	He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil. sin devil

It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the Lord takes care of the godly. Psalm 37:16-17	Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous. sin money righteousness
The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity, but it destroys the wicked. Proverbs 10:29	The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. sin reliability law
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. Psalm 1:1	Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers. sin righteousness blessing
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked. Psalm 97:10	You who love Yahweh, hate evil! He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. reliability redeemer evil
Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. Psalm 34:19	Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. righteousness suffering redeemer
He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. Psalm 33:5	He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh. reliability love righteousness
Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” Genesis 1:28	God blessed them. The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. Matthew 13:22	What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:12	For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. righteousness prayer listening

But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin. Job 5:17	Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. punishment suffering blessing

Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows. Isaiah 1:17	Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. righteousness neighbor widows

Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the Lord wrote the terms of the covenant—the Ten Commandments—on the stone tablets.
