He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend.One who walks with integrity, practices righteousness, And speaks truth in his heart. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position; but the rich person is to glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away.
So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
