Thank you (3/4)

For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes.I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house.
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart.
If you love me, obey my commandments. If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy. You must follow exactly the path that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you are to possess.
In those days when you pray, I will listen. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.
I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.Even to your old age I am he, even when you turn gray I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you.
You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver. For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.
But when you are arrested and stand trial, don’t worry in advance about what to say. Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit. When they bring you to trial and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say; but say whatever is given you at that time, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace— in peace because they trust in you.
And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed.Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, just as you have said.
The Lord your God will bless you as he has promised. You will lend money to many nations but will never need to borrow. You will rule many nations, but they will not rule over you. When the Lord your God has blessed you, as he promised you, you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
Do not add to or subtract from these commands I am giving you. Just obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you.You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God with which I am charging you.
I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. It will not be so among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave.
Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.
I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
