| There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? | God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? |

| Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. | So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. |

| But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. | But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. |
| There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling. | For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. |
| And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ | Heal the sick, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God is near you now.’ |
