- You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
beautiful in every way. - There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
- You are my refuge and my shield;
your word is my source of hope. - I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there. - How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!
- For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.
- I said to the Lord, “You are my Master!
Every good thing I have comes from you.” - You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
- For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.
- Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?
- Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
- No one is holy like the Lord!
There is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. - But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.
- And yet, O Lord, you are our Father.
We are the clay, and you are the potter.
We all are formed by your hand. - You are my rock and my fortress.
For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. - O God, you are my God;
I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you;
my whole body longs for you
in this parched and weary land
where there is no water. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
May your gracious Spirit lead me forward
on a firm footing. - Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you. - For you are my hiding place;
you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with songs of victory. - You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
- Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
- Before the mountains were born,
before you gave birth to the earth and the world,
from beginning to end, you are God. - God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are!God’s way is perfect.
All the Lord’s promises prove true.
He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you.Next verse!With image
