| You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! | What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. | Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. |
| Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. | For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |
| O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. | For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. |
| The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you. | The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. |
