How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you! 2 Samuel 7:22	Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. God worship
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9	And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. grace strength weakness

For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. Romans 3:20	Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. sin law righteousness
But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. Acts 12:5	Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. prayer neighbor dependence
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Hebrews 4:9-10	There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. sabbath rest work
So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God. 1 Corinthians 8:4	Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. idols food
We love each other because he loved us first. 1 John 4:19	We love Him because He first loved us. love God
That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10	Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. joy strength persecution
Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15	For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. love life resurrection
Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. 2 Corinthians 7:1	Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. purification holiness awe
So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded. 1 Thessalonians 5:6	Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. safety self-control end times
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12	Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. law neighbor relationships
So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless. Ecclesiastes 11:10	Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity. sadness worrying heart

Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. Proverbs 4:7	Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. wisdom understanding
Then the Lord God said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. Matthew 6:2	Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. Galatians 3:5	Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? law Spirit listening
When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong. Ecclesiastes 8:11	Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. sin heart punishment
Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
