- Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.
- Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
- All who fear the Lord will hate evil.

corruption and perverse speech. - Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
- But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.
- So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.

and gave him the name above all other names,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
