Let those who are wise understand these words, and let the prudent acknowledge them. For straight are the ways of the Lord; the upright walk in them, but sinners stumble. However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you. Consequently, anyone united to Christ is a new creation. The old order has passed away. Behold, all has become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17	Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. creation Jesus rebirth
But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe. Galatians 3:22	But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. sin trust faith
Out of the same mouth flow blessings and curses. This should not be so, my brethren. James 3:10	From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. sin speaking worship
Everyone who seeks a prize submits himself to rigorous self-discipline in every respect. They do so to win a perishable crown, while we seek an imperishable one. 1 Corinthians 9:25	Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. self-control reward eternal life
I have told you this so that in me you may be in peace. In the world you will endure suffering. But take courage! I have overcome the world. John 16:33	I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. encouragement peace overcoming
I am now about to go the way of all upon the earth. You know very well in your hearts and your souls that not one of the good things that the Lord, your God, promised you has failed to take place. Every promise has been fulfilled, not one of them has been broken. Joshua 23:14	And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you. The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common. Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret. You must understand, brethren, that it is through him that forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you. All those who believe are justified from all the things from which they could not be justified by the Law of Moses. Whatever moves and has life will be used for your food. I give you all these things, just as I have already given you every green plant. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single letter, not even a tiny portion of a letter, will disappear from the Law until all things have been accomplished. A good man produces good from the store of goodness in his heart, whereas an evil man produces evil from the store of evil within him. For the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart. Luke 6:45	The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. sin speaking blessing
The heart is more deceitful than any other thing, and it is also perverse. Who can uncover its secrets? I, the Lord, search the heart and probe the mind to reward all according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve. Jeremiah 17:9-10	The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” reward life heart
And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works. 2 Corinthians 9:8	And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. blessing worrying goodness
While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8	For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. health obedience life
Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive. Matthew 21:22	And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. reliability faith prayer

Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ.

Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.
