Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “an idol has no real existence,” and that “there is no God but one.” 1 Corinthians 8:4	Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one. idols food
When goods increase, they increase who eat them, and what advantage has their owner but to see them with his eyes? Ecclesiastes 5:11	When goods increase, those who eat them are increased; and what advantage is there to its owner, except to feast on them with his eyes? materialism money desires
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31	But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. Psalm 112:5	It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment. generosity mercy honesty
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17-18	The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
