But far be it from me to boast except in the cross… Galatians 6:14

But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you—not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:21	And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7	He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. sin Savior forgiveness
By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9	God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. love Jesus life
You being enriched in everything for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us. 2 Corinthians 9:11	Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. generosity blessing gratitude
But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11	The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Jesus Spirit life
We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law. Galatians 2:15-16	You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14	I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. reward Jesus calling
And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32	Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. forgiveness compassion goodness
Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4	Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous. Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself. Philippians 2:3	Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. selfishness humility neighbor
But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction. Romans 3:21-22	But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. faith law righteousness
Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17	And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. speaking gratitude following
But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5	But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9	God saved you by his grace when you believed. Having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever. 1 Peter 1:23	For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. With his mouth the godless man destroys his neighbor, but the righteous will be delivered through knowledge. Proverbs 11:9	With their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous. righteousness speaking wisdom
Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.
