Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf.For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Indeed, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.”If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
