| For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. | For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. |

| In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. | Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. |
| He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. | For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. |
