| Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. | Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. |
| Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him. | He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. |
| Whoever gains wisdom loves his own soul; one who cherishes understanding will prosper. | He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. |
| For they said to you, “In the final age there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly passions.” It is these people who create divisions, who follow their natural instincts and do not possess the Spirit. | How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. |
| If anyone would boast, let him boast in the Lord. For it is not the one who commends himself who is really approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. | But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends. |
| The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him. | The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. |
| And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.” | And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.” |
| No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known. | No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. |
| No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. | He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. |
| In the same way, I tell you, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. | I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. |
| But whoever endures to the end will be saved. | But he who endures to the end shall be saved. |
| Be strong and courageous in your hearts, all you who place your hope in the Lord. | Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord. |
| Everyone who sins breaks the law, for sin is lawlessness. | Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. |
| To those who seek after glory and honor and immortality by persevering in good works, he will grant eternal life. | Eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality. |
| Because I delivered the poor who appealed for help and the orphan who had no one to protect him. The blessing of the wretched was given to me, and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy. | Because I delivered the poor who cried out, The fatherless and the one who had no helper. The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy. |
| Whoever heeds admonition is on the path to life, but anyone who rejects correction goes astray. | He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray. |
| If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you. | But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. |
| Whoever observes the commandments will live, but the one who scorns them will die. | He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But he who is careless of his ways will die. |
| And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who are peacemakers. | Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. |

| Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not my own; rather, it comes from him who sent me.” | Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.” |

| Blessed is the man who perseveres when he is tempted, for when he has been proven, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. | Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. |
| He will not permit your foot to stumble; he who guards you will not fall asleep. | He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. |
| Who has performed these deeds and accomplished this? Who has summoned the nations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am the first, and I will be there with the last. | Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’ |
