| Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it. | Wealth hastily acquired will dwindle away, but when amassed little by little, it will increase. |
| When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable, But one who restrains his lips is wise. | Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent, but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. |
| But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. | But whoever endures to the end will be saved. |
