The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. |
The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. | To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. |

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. | For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. |
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. | Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. |
The Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you abandon Him, He will abandon you. | The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. |
Go then, eat your bread in happiness, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works. | Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works. |
And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” | But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. |
Do not be mismatched with unbelievers; for what do righteousness and lawlessness share together, or what does light have in common with darkness? | Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? |
For nothing will be impossible with God. | For with God nothing shall be impossible. |
One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility. | He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity. |
I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a groom puts on a turban, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. | I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. |
If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people. | If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. |
One who walks with wise people will be wise, But a companion of fools will suffer harm. | He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. |
The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy. | The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. |
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand. | Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. |
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. | Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. |
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. | In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. |
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. | The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. |
For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good. | For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. |
When pride comes, then comes dishonor; But with the humble there is wisdom. | When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. |
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation. | For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. |
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. | Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving. |
The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. | The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. |
And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. | And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. |
I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders. | I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. |
