- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
- For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good. - When pride comes, then comes dishonor;
But with the humble there is wisdom. - For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will glorify the lowly with salvation. - Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.
- The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.
- I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders.
