| And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him. | And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. |

| Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? | Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? |

| Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest. | Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. |

| There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. | There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
