Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29	Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. speaking gossip goodness
The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. Proverbs 29:25	Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety. trust fear

Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. Matthew 6:16	And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. fasting humility reward
Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things. Romans 2:1	You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. Matthew 6:2	When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. humility reward giving
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you. Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:15-16	No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another. Romans 12:10	Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. love neighbor
Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up. 1 Samuel 2:7	The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up. money almighty humility
Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free. Luke 6:37	Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. judgment forgiveness
One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind. Romans 14:5	In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable. obedience wisdom neighbor
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8	And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. blessing worrying goodness
Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged. Matthew 7:1	Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. law judgment
Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Matthew 5:11	God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. blessing persecution evil
Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits. Romans 12:16	Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! humility community dependence
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.” 1 Peter 3:14	But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. righteousness suffering fear
Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up. Romans 15:2	We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. selfishness encouragement neighbor
He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool. Proverbs 10:18	Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool. speaking gossip lying
Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:10	Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law. law love neighbor
Not rendering evil for evil or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9	Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing. speaking blessing calling
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4	All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. suffering worship encouragement

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
