| Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you. | For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. |
| God gives the desolate a home to live in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious live in a parched land. | God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. |

| Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever follows perverse ways will be found out. | He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. |

| Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear. | Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. |
| Speak out, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy. | Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy. |

| And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. | Speak out for those who cannot speak, for the rights of all the destitute. | Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. |
| Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
