- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all wrongs. - And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.
- He who covers an offense promotes love;
but he who repeats a matter separates best friends. - No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - A fool shows his annoyance the same day,
but one who overlooks an insult is prudent. - He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.Next verse!With image
