- As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.
O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart. - Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
- He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
- For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting.
