When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. 2 Peter 2:9	Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment. temptation judgment punishment
Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. Psalm 107:20	He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves. healing Word of God

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
