| Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. | Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. |
| Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. | Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. | But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. | Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him. |
| Take care of any widow who has no one else to care for her. | Honor widows who are widows indeed. |
