For unto us a child is born (2/4)

We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

“And tear your heart and not merely your garments.” Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in mercy And relenting of catastrophe.And rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.
Now all this took place so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled: “Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
So the Lord commanded us to follow all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our own good always and for our survival, as it is today.And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day.
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us.For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our lawgiver; the Lord is our king; he will save us.
