You have refined us as silver is refined. - But when he had thought this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”

And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- A wise son makes a father glad,
But a foolish son is a grief to his mother. - Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name;
And save us and forgive our sins for the sake of Your name. - For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
- You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
- For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.
