Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.”
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.
Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.
Let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. SelahFinally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
Rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.

Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out.Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.
