Fruit of spirit and holy spirit (4/4)

Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.”
The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things. Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
In the same way, even the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs that cannot be put into words. And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.
There is one body and one Spirit, as well as one hope to which you have been called by your vocation. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it.No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.
This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit. And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.
Even though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, even though the olive crop will fail and the orchards will yield no food, even though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, I will continue to rejoice in the Lord, and exult in the God of my salvation.Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
A cheerful heart is excellent medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
Therefore, I tell you that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.
Indeed, the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any two-edged sword, it pierces to the point where it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and the intentions of the heart. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
Stay awake and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!

I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

The heart is more deceitful than any other thing, and it is also perverse. Who can uncover its secrets? I, the Lord, search the heart and probe the mind to reward all according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve. The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.
Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your gracious Spirit lead me along a level path.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.
The tongue has the power over life and death; those who cherish it will enjoy its fruits. The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
