Fully rely on God (3/4)

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.
