Giving to the needy (2/4)

But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.

If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave to them, saying, “All of you drink it, for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.”Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
