Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28	We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. love God calling
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9	Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up. righteousness reward patience
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up. Proverbs 12:25	Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad. speaking worrying heart
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. Ecclesiastes 5:18	Behold, that which I have seen to be good and proper is for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy good in all his labor, in which he labors under the sun, all the days of his life which God has given him; for this is his portion. food work life
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. Psalm 112:5	It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment. generosity mercy honesty
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 2 Corinthians 9:8	And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work. blessing worrying goodness
