| But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. | But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. |
| Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. | Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. |

| And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |
| And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. | And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. |

| Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. | Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. | Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. |

Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. | Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. |
