| For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. | Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. | Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. |

| The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. | The Lord’s home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name! | It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name. |
| After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it.
