Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness.He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.
But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours.For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself.That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.

He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.”And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
