| And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued to teach and preach this message: “Jesus is the Messiah.” | And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ. |
| Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.” | Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” |

| Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!” | Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.” |
| And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. | Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. |
| There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. | There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. |
