A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance.The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
I am the gate. Anyone who enters through me will be saved. He will go in and out and will find pasture.Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will ever snatch them from my hand. Do you believe this?”Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
If anyone wishes to serve me, he must follow me. Where I am, there also will my servant be. If anyone serves me, my Father will honor that person.Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.
Amen, amen, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message.
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.
I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should also love one another.So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples: if you love one another.Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You place your trust in God. Trust also in me.Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
If you know me, then you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him. You have seen him.If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!
Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, it will be enough for us.”Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”

Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.”Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you.But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid.I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
