So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. Hebrews 4:11	Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. sabbath obedience rest
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7	Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. love neighbor friendship
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living. Amos 5:24	But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. law righteousness
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.
