My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us.May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us.
We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom should I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom should I dread? The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken. And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink, and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he labors under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward. This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.
