But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. The rich can pay a ransom for their lives, but the poor won’t even get threatened. Proverbs 13:8	Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats. money materialism fear
And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. Mark 12:30	You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. love God strength

But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. John 10:10	The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. salvation life
In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16	We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another. love Jesus neighbor
For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. 1 Thessalonians 4:14	For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. faith Jesus resurrection
But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. Romans 3:21-22	But now, apart from law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” Joel 2:12	Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. conversion fasting sadness
But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! Psalm 54:4	But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. life dependence equipment
For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 1 Peter 1:18-19	You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish. Fight the good fight for the true faith. But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ —by grace you have been saved—.
