- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
- And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
- The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus.”
- But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
- Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.
- Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.
- By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life. - For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will save it.
- For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.
- Who, though he was in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God
as something to be exploited,
but emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
being born in human likeness.
And being found in human form,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to the point of death—
even death on a cross. - For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.
- But surely, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
- For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
- The reward for humility and fear of the Lord
is riches and honor and life.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
