- For with God nothing shall be impossible.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

- He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
- Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
- Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
