| For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” | For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |

| Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. | Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. |
| Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! | Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you. | Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. |
| Not to us, Lord, not to us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, because of Your truth. | Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. |
| And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. | And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. |
| Salvation belongs to the Lord; May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah | Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. |
| He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
